01 Introduction

Marathi Kids Learning App (“the App”) is developed and published by TechNeofy (“we”, “us”, or “our”). The App helps children learn Marathi through alphabets, barakhadi, words, tracing, quizzes, maths, and related activities in a fun, interactive way.

This Privacy Policy applies to the Android application identified by package name com.techneofy.marathikidslearning. By installing or using the App, a parent or legal guardian agrees to this Privacy Policy on behalf of the child using the App.

02 Who the App Is For

The App is designed primarily for children aged 3 to 7 years, with parents or guardians responsible for installation, settings, and consent.

We treat the App as a children’s / child-directed product for advertising and privacy configuration purposes.

03 Information We Do Not Collect

We do not intentionally collect, request, or store the following from children through the App:

• Name, postal address, email address, or phone number
• Photos, contacts, precise location, microphone recordings, or camera access for social features
• User accounts, social logins, or chat / messaging features
• Behavioral profiles built by us for marketing to children

04 Data Stored Locally on the Device

To make the App work offline-friendly and remember progress, we store limited information only on the device (for example via Android SharedPreferences), including:

• Quiz and activity scores / progress counters
• App settings (theme, notification preference, TTS-related preferences, etc.)
• In-app rate-prompt and privacy-consent flags
• Ad frequency helpers (such as last interstitial timing / screen-open counters) to limit how often ads appear

This local data is not sent to TechNeofy servers by the App. Clearing app data or uninstalling the App removes this information from the device. Parents can also use in-app settings options (where available) to reset progress or clear local data.

05 Permissions

Depending on the Android version and user choices, the App may request or use:

The App uses on-device Text-to-Speech (TTS) for pronunciation. TTS voice data is handled by the device / Google TTS (or the user’s chosen engine), not by our servers.

06 Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App displays advertisements using Google AdMob to support free distribution of the App.

• Ads are requested with child-directed treatment enabled.
• Maximum ad content rating is set to G (general audiences).
• Learning screens load first; ads are frequency-capped and should not block core learning content.
• We do not sell children’s personal information.

Google and its partners may collect certain device and advertising identifiers according to their own policies when ads are served. Please review Google’s privacy materials, including:

07 Third-Party Services

The App may interact with third-party services that have their own privacy practices:

• Google AdMob / Google Play services — advertising and Play distribution related libraries
• Google Play In-App Review / App Update — optional rating and update prompts via Play APIs
• Device Text-to-Speech — pronunciation on the device

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties outside our control. Parents should review those policies when relevant.

08 COPPA & Parental Consent

We design the App with children’s privacy in mind and aim to operate in a manner consistent with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google Play Families policies, including child-directed ad settings.

By accepting the in-app privacy notice and using the App, a parent or guardian confirms that they:

• Are the parent or legal guardian of the child using the App
• Consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy
• Understand the App is designed for young children and may show child-directed ads

External destinations (such as this website, Play Store listing, or other links) are protected by a parent gate inside the App to reduce accidental exits by children.

09 Security

Because most App progress data stays on the device, security largely depends on the physical and account security of the device (screen lock, Google account protections, etc.). We take reasonable steps in how the App is built (for example limiting data we request), but no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.

10 Parental Choices & Controls

Parents and guardians can:

• Disable notifications in App settings or Android system settings
• Reset or clear local learning data using in-app tools where provided, or by clearing App storage / uninstalling
• Use Android parental controls / Family Link and Google ad settings available on the device

11 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means the parent/guardian accepts the revised policy. Material changes may also be reflected in the in-app privacy notice where appropriate.
